About us

The objective of our Non-Profit Housing program is to house low or modest income persons, sixty years and older who are independent and capable of looking after their own daily needs.  GNPHC does not provide any meals or care at our apartment buildings.

We currently have two buildings, which at the time of construction back in 1981, fell under the Seniors Non-Profit Housing Program.  An important note is that although we have a General Manager for daily needs, Goulbourn Non-Profit Housing Corporation is directed by a local Board of Directors also consisting of one tenant from each building.  There is also a full time maintenance manager onsite Monday through Friday to ensure the building is well maintained.

We currently have two 32 unit buildings, one located in Stittsville Ontario which is also the office location and the other Richmond, Ontario.  These two-level buildings consist of a mixture of 1 and 2 bedroom units designated for seniors in the Ottawa region.  For accessibility and convenience there is a lift located at the centre of each building.

We provide plenty of indoor and outdoor storage as well as outdoor parking.  Our property has a well-maintained paved walk path around each building for health purposes that can be used any time of year by our tenants.  We also have a common space complete with a full kitchen accessible to tenants and family members for those special occasions that are so important!  If you have a “green thumb”, we also maintain a year round greenhouse for your gardening needs as well as flower and vegetable gardens on the property for tenant use.
